Follow these steps to get your Gateway back online
Step 1: Activate the Gateway AP mode

Short pressure on the AP Mode Button (do not hold down) on your Gateway. It turns on the AP mode (access point mode) on your Gateway, creating a wireless network to connect to your phone or laptop.
The AP Mode LED (the second LED next to the phone icon) should continuously burn green to indicate that your Gateway is currently in AP mode.

Step 2: Connect your phone/laptop to the Gateway
Go to the Wi-Fi settings of your phone or laptop and connect to the Wi-Fi network named Envoy_XXXXXX, where "XXXXXX" corresponds to the last six digits of your Gateway serial number.
Note the last 6 digits (the section "XXXXXX") of the serial number of your Gateway. This will be useful at a later stage in this problem-solving process. |

Now open a web browser on your device (Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) and type in the address bar 172.30.1.1
(Do not forget the points!).

This will lead you to the Gateway configuration page.

Step 3: Forget the old Wi-Fi network.
If your system is currently not connected to a Wi-Fi network, you can skip it and continue to step 4. |
On the Gateway Configuration page tap Wi-Fi in the monitoring section. If requested, you should use the Gateway username (envoy) and password (the last six digits of the serial number of the Gateway) in.

On the Wi-Fi configuration page, select Further information > Click on Forgot this network > Click on I forgot.

This disconnects the Gateway from any previously connected Wi-Fi networks, making it possible to connect it to a new network.
Step 4: Connect to the new Wi-Fi network.
Tap the button Show Networks then select your home network from the list of available networks.

If your home WiFi network is not shown in the list above, check that the Gateway is within the reach of your home WiFi network. |
Enter the password for your home network and tap Connect.

Make sure the connection is successful.

If the top LED light is continuously lit in the cloud icon: Congratulations! You're back online.
Why is my Gateway LED still red and why don't I see my production data even after my Gateway is reconnected to the Internet?
It takes a while to synchronize the backup data with the Enphase Cloud. Usually it takes about 1 hour for every day that your Gateway has been offline. For example, if your Gateway was offline for 30 days, your system should sync completely in about 30 hours. If you do not come out, please email us support@verdasol.nl or call: 035-887 1975
